Who Is Dr. Kassouf?
Dr. Kassouf completed his medical school and internal medicine specialty at Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. He then went to France to complete a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Gustave Roussy Cancer Center, University Paris Sud. Interested by the evolution of lung cancer treatment, he undertook a fellowship in thoracic oncology at the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal. On a more academic level, He holds a Masters of Science in advanced oncology from Ulm University in Germany, and is soon starting an International Masters in Health Leadership at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Dr Kassouf is currently a Hematologist and Medical Oncologist at the Centre Hospitalier Regional De Lanaudière. He is an active member of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) as well as many medical associations and societies. Highly motivated, focused and determined to improve cancer care, his main interests revolve around bridging artificial intelligence and medicine, optimizing resources for patients, and improving access to clinical researching new therapies.
